I’ve been really thrown off as to what day of the week it is. With Monday being a holiday I have been a day off all week. That being said I almost forgot that it is Thursday! We have FINALLY put all our pictures from our trip to South Africa on the computer. For some reason WordPress does not like the format of Kathryn’s pictures from her camera. Basically WP does not like super awesome quality pictures, so once I get that sorted out I’ll have to do a Kruger Part 2. So for your viewing pleasure here is Part 1 (we have like 3000 pictures so I’m not even sure how many different posts I will end up doing) All of these pictures are from our first 3 days in South Africa where we visited the Kruger National Park.
This is all of our luggage in our car. I’m still not sure how everything fit.
Waiting on our airplane.
Melts my heart.
This little boy was perfect on the plane!
The first morning at about 6am, waiting to get in the gate.
Well hello elephant!
Deciding our route for the day.
This was the car that we rented. In Kruger you want to have something big and high up so that you can see well.
An elephant taking a dip in the water.
The best lunch spot.
With all the early mornings and long flight, an afternoon cup of coffee is needed!
These guys are everywhere!
No animal is too small to stop and take a picture of.
Baboon! Mean little boogers.
Some crazy cat/rodent.
My favorites 🙂
We were just driving down the road and came around a turn to these three guys in the middle of the road. They were just standing there, but finally moved so we could cross.
While stopped we had to let Brice talk to the animals.
Stopped at a watering hole to see what there is to see.
Friends! When you spend 17 days straight with people you have no choice but to love each other.
Nasty bat. If I never see/hear one of these again I’ll be happy.
Hey Pumba, where’s Timon?
Zazu! (yes we related every animal to the Lion King)
Hard to see, but that is a hyena.
That.is.a.leopard!!! Seeing one of these is like the icing on the cake.
Yes, that is a bathroom. No, you don’t want to know what the inside is like.
Silver backed foxes.
A good look at what a lot of the roads we drove on were like. Another reason you want a big car!
This little fella was telling us goodbye outside of the gate.
What is your favorite wild animal?
